Power BI Developer

Mandatory: Dashboard Development and administration with Power BI, SQL, DAX calculations

Nice to have: Custom Visual creation with D3 JS, MCode, Performance optimization, Deployment pipelines.

Candidate who has attained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or relevant field

Hands on knowledge with Power BI, Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, analytics services

Strong Logical thinking.

Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects

Professional certifications will be added advantage.

Design, Develop and Implement insightful dashboards with Power BI

Participate and lead daily team meetings and Sprints.

Client facing role, should have strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.

Strong communication skills to meet with delivery teams and business-facing teams, understand sometimes ambiguous, needs, and translate to clear, aligned requirements.

3+ years of experience in Data Analysis with Power BI

Data Modelling and transformations with Power BI

Build reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools.

Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.

Experienced in performing SQL queries for best results.

Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.

Be able to quickly model the data into reporting and analytics solutions.

Should have knowledge of database fundamentals such as relational database design, and more.

Good understanding of report sharing and embedding.

Should have knowledge of managing the reports across the organization.

Knowledge of creating custom visuals is a plus.

Experience with SQL databases, such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle.

Experience in writing complex SQL queries and creating data models.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with medium to large projects.

Knowledge of agile work practices.
